On October 8, 2025, Jessie Bledsoe, a non-DOJ Individual, was sentenced in the Southern District of Florida to 4 months of imprisonment, followed by 3 years of supervised release, including 8 months of home detention with electronic monitoring, and a $7,500 fine. Bledsoe, the operator and co-owner of JB Railroad, previously pleaded guilty to making payments totaling $75,956 with the intent to influence and reward an agent of Miami-Dade County, Dale Robinson, in the award of purchase orders from Miami-Dade Transit for work on the Metrorail system. According to the factual statement in support of the guilty plea, from in or around January 2021 through in or around March 2022, Bledsoe made payments to Robinson after receiving invoices from Tailored Railroads, a company created at Robinson’s direction to disguise the payments; Robinson and his wife, a former DOJ Civil Division Legal Assistant, previously were sentenced on related charges. The investigation was conducted by the OIG’s Huntsville Locale and the FBI.
