On July 7, 2025, a non-DOJ individual pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit access device fraud and one count of aggravated identity theft. Tonianne Dixon was previously charged by Information in the Southern District of Florida. According to the factual proffer in support of her guilty plea, from in or about December 2023, to on or about February 22, 2024, Dixon knowingly, and with intent to defraud, obtained and sold personal identification information, including Social Security Numbers, dates of birth, and driver license numbers issued to other persons (“unauthorized access devices”). Dixon agreed that she conspired with others to commit access device fraud and, related to this conspiracy, possessed and transferred the name and date of birth of a specific victim whom she knew to be a real person without lawful authority and with intent to defraud. The investigation is being conducted by the OIG’s Miami office.
