On October 8, 2026, a former U.S. Marshals Service Contractor pleaded guilty to child abuse and criminal threat. Issac McIver, pleaded guilty in the McPhearson County District Court. According to factual basis in support of the guilty plea, McIver cruelly struck a child under the age of 18 and criminally threatened another individual in April 2026. The investigation is being conducted by the OIG’s Kansas City Locale and the McPherson County Sheriff’s Office.
