On April 23, 2020, a former USMS Contract Correctional Officer, previously assigned to the Pottawatomie County Public Safety Center (PCPSC) in Shawnee, Oklahoma, was sentenced to twelve months and one day of imprisonment followed by thirty-six months of supervised release for one count of drug conspiracy. Vaj Braiden Hardwick was sentenced in the Western District of Oklahoma. According to the factual statement in support of the guilty plea, from in or about December 2018 through on or about July 4, 2019, Hardwick entered into an agreement with at least one other person to possess with intent to distribute and distribute controlled substances, namely methamphetamine. The investigation is being conducted by the OIG’s Dallas Field Office and FBI.
