Former USMS Contract Correctional Officer Pleaded Guilty to Bribery

On January 15, 2026, a former USMS Contract Correctional Officer previously assigned to the Correctional Center of Northwest Ohio (CCNO), pleaded guilty to one count of bribery; Alexander Williams pleaded guilty in Williams County Court of Common Pleas in Bryan, Ohio. According to the Indictment, between in or about May 2024, and in or about December 2024, Williams knowingly accepted bribes to influence the discharge of his official duties. The investigation is being conducted by OIG’s Detroit Office and the Williams County Sheriff’s Office.
