Former USMS Contract Correctional Officer Indicted and Arrested for Bribery of a Public Official

On October 9, 2025, Alexander Williams, a former USMS Contract Correctional Officer previously assigned to the Correctional Center of Northwest Ohio, was arrested and charged in the Williams County Court of Common Pleas, located in Bryan, Ohio, with one count of bribery of a public official. According to the Indictment, from on or about May 1, 2024, through on or about December 1, 2024, Williams knowingly accepted bribes to influence the discharge of his official duties. The investigation is being conducted by the OIG’s Detroit Office and the Williams County Sheriff’s Office.
