On August 18, 2021, a former DEA Supervisory Special Agent previously assigned to the DEA’s Little Rock Field Office pleaded guilty to bribery. Nathan Charles Wood Koen pleaded guilty in the Eastern District of Arkansas. According to the plea agreement, Koen pleaded guilty to a one-count Superseding Information, which stated that on or about December 3, 2018, Koen accepted a cash payment from a known drug trafficker in exchange for providing law enforcement sensitive information to the drug trafficker. The investigation is being conducted by the OIG’s Dallas Field Office and the FBI’s Little Rock Field Office.
