Former BOP Nurse Pleaded Guilty to False Statements

On July 2, 2025, a former BOP Nurse previously assigned to the Federal Medical Center in Rochester, Minnesota, pleaded guilty to one count of false statements.  Jessica Larson, who resigned from her position with the BOP, pleaded guilty in the District of Minnesota.  According to the Plea Agreement, on April 26, 2024, Larson willfully and knowingly made a material misstatement to BOP officials who asked her about the nature of her relationship with an inmate, with whom she had an inappropriate personal relationship.  The investigation is being conducted by the OIG’s Chicago Office and the FBI.
