On April 10, 2025, a former BOP Correctional Officer previously assigned to the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Memphis, was sentenced to 12 months and 1 day incarceration, to be followed by 2 years of supervised release. Bryan Miller was sentenced in the Western District of Tennessee. According to the Information and other documents, Miller accepted payments totaling $19,500 over a 4-month period in exchange for smuggling contraband items, including narcotics, into FCI Memphis. The investigation was conducted by the OIG’s Jackson Locale and the FBI.
