Former BOP Correctional Officer Pleaded Guilty to Introduction of Contraband

On May 31, 2023, a former BOP Correctional Officer previously assigned to the Robert A. Deyton Detention Facility (RAD) in Lovejoy, Georgia, pleaded guilty to one count of introduction of contraband.  Daja Dillihay pleaded guilty in the Northern District of Georgia.  According to the factual statement in support of the guilty plea, from on or about December 6, 2020, through on or about December 14, 2020, Dillihay used her position at RAD to smuggle contraband, including a cellular phone, a knife, and a screwdriver, into the facility for an inmate.  The investigation is being conducted by the OIG’s Miami Field Office and the FBI.
