Former BOP Correctional Officer Pleaded Guilty to Bribery

On March 11, 2026, a former BOP Correctional Officer previously assigned to the Federal Correctional Center Forrest City (FCC Forrest City), in Arkansas, pleaded guilty to acceptance of a bribe by a public official.  Robert Cochran pleaded guilty in the Eastern District of Arkansas. According to the factual statement in support of the guilty plea, from October 1, 2022, through February 27, 2023, Robert Cochran agreed to receive and accept money in exchange for smuggling contraband into FCC Forrest City. The investigation is being conducted by the OIG’s Dallas Office.
