Former BOP Correctional Officer Indicted for Bribery of a Public Official

On November 14, 2024, a former BOP Correctional Officer previously assigned to the Federal Correctional Complex Forrest City (FCC Forrest City) in Arkansas, was indicted on one count of bribery of a public official. Sierra Long was indicted in the Eastern District of Arkansas. According to the Indictment, in or about June 2021, Long directly and indirectly corruptly agreed to receive and accepted $5,200 in exchange for bringing contraband into FCC Forrest City. The investigation is being conducted by the OIG’s Dallas Office and the Investigative Analyst of the OIG’s Dallas Office.
