Former ATF Program Analyst Entered into an Alford Plea of Guilty to Grand Larceny

On February 11, 2021, a former ATF Program Analyst entered into an Alford plea of guilty to one count of grand larceny.  Wanda Hazel pleaded guilty in the General District Court of Loudoun County in the Commonwealth of Virginia.  According to the factual statement in support of the guilty plea, from in or about July 2007 through in or about March 2012, an analysis of Hazel’s credit card records showed that Hazel made approximately $244,147 in charges to a cheerleading company in which she had an ownership interest, using her government-issued credit card. The investigation is being conducted jointly by the OIG’s Washington Field Office and ATF’s Internal Affairs Division.
