On December 19, 2025, a BOP inmate pleaded guilty and was sentenced to one month of imprisonment to be served consecutively, following an indictment by a Federal Grand Jury for Possession of Contraband in Prison. Quinton Davis was indicted in the Southern District of Georgia. According to the Indictment, Davis admitted that while incarcerated at the Federal Correctional Institution in Jessup, Georgia, he purchased contraband postage stamps, for which the payment was remitted to BOP Correctional Officer Ashley Brown, who was also charged in the indictment. This investigation is being conducted by the OIG’s Charleston Locale.
