BOP Inmate Indicted and Arrested for Providing or Possessing Contraband in Prison, Conspiracy, and Possession and Distribution of Narcotics

On October 7, 2021, a BOP inmate housed at the Forrest City Correctional Complex (FCC-FC) in Arkansas was arrested following an Indictment charging her with providing or possessing contraband in prison, conspiracy, and possession and distribution of narcotics.  Ura Clerk was indicted in the Eastern District of Arkansas.  According to the Indictment, from in or about January 2017 through on or about February 28, 2019, Clerk conspired with others to knowingly and intentionally distribute and possess with intent to distribute a Schedule I controlled substance, and on or about July 15, 2018, Clerk knowingly and intentionally possessed a Schedule I controlled substance within the FCC-FC.  The investigation is being conducted by the OIG’s Dallas Field Office.
