BOP Correctional Officer Arrested for Felony Sexual Assault

On October 21, 2022, a BOP Correctional Officer assigned to the Federal Correctional Complex Beaumont (FCC Beaumont) in Texas, was arrested following the issuance of a state arrest warrant for felony Sexual Assault.  According to the arrest warrant affidavit, on or about August 24, 2022, while at a hotel in Arlington, Texas, in connection with a BOP sponsored training, James Pitre sexually assaulted another BOP employee. The investigation is being conducted by the OIG’s Houston Area Office and the Arlington Police Department.
