BOP Correctional Officer Arrested and Charged with Conspiracy to Possess with Intent to Distribute Controlled Substances in a Federal Correctional Complex

On July 8, 2025, a BOP Correctional Officer assigned to the Federal Correctional Institution Pollock Medium (FCI Pollock), in Louisiana, was arrested following an indictment charging him with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute controlled substances.  Charles Edward Humphreys II was indicted in the Western District of Louisiana.  According to the Indictment, between on or about January 1, 2022, and continuing to on or about November 30, 2023, Humphreys conspired with others to possess with intent to distribute Buprenorphine-Naloxone, a controlled substance.  The investigation is being conducted by the OIG’s Houston Office.
