Audit of the United States Marshals Service’s Identification and Reporting of Improper Payments

The OIG is auditing the U.S. Marshals Service’s (USMS) identification and reporting of improper payments. Our preliminary objective is to determine whether the USMS established adequate controls to identify and report improper payments and to effectively recover overpayments.
