The OIG is auditing the USMS's contract number ODT-9-C-0001 awarded to CoreCivic, Inc. (CoreCivic). The preliminary objective of the audit is to evaluate USMS's practices for ensuring that payments made to CoreCivic for operating the Central Arizona Florence Correctional Complex comply with contract terms, including contractor adherence to staffing requirements and proper application of space utilization credits.
