Former Child Advocacy Center Executive Director Pleaded Guilty to Theft of Federal Program Funds

On July 20, 2021, the former Executive Director of the Kids’ Space Child Advocacy Center, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, pleaded guilty to one count of theft of federal program funds.  Hilary McQueen pleaded guilty in the Eastern District of Oklahoma.  According to the factual statement in support of the guilty plea, from in or about June 2015 through on or about September 1, 2018, Kids Space received benefits from the United States in excess of $10,000 in any one year period, and during that time McQueen embezzled, stole and misapplied property worth at least $5,000 which was under the care, custody and control of Kids Space.  The investigation is being conducted by the OIG’s Dallas Field Office and the FBI.
