Former BOP Vendors Debarred from Government Contracting

On August 7, 2020, three companies and two individuals were debarred, for a period of three years, by the Department’s Debarment Official from conducting business with the government and receiving certain government benefits due to facts developed by the OIG revealing the companies knowingly provided adulterated food products to the BOP, and due to the parties’ failure to meet the requirements of the temporary lifting of an earlier suspension.  FlavorPros, LLC and its affiliates, America’s Best and Richards & Danielson, along with the owner and manager of the companies, Charlene Brach, and the President of the companies, Richard Brach, were each debarred.  The investigation is being conducted by the OIG’s Fraud Detection Office and the Food and Drug Administration’s Office of Criminal Investigations.
