Former BOP Electrical Worker Supervisor Sentenced for Theft of Public Money

On December 9, 2020, a former BOP Electrical Worker Supervisor previously assigned to the Federal Correctional Institution Big Spring in Big Spring, Texas, was sentenced to two years of probation and ordered to pay a $2,000 fine and $1,500 in restitution for one count of theft of public money.  Brad Boulrice was sentenced in the Northern District of Texas.  According to the factual statement in support of the guilty plea, from on or about October 2, 2018, through on or about November 18, 2019, Boulrice did knowingly and willfully embezzle, steal, purloin, and without authority convert to his own use and the use of another, property and a thing of value of the United States, to wit a John Deere Gator.  Boulrice self-surrendered on August 20, 2020, after pleading guilty on July 8, 2020.  The investigation is being conducted by the OIG’s El Paso Area Office.
