Former BOP Contract Correctional Officer Arrested for Bribery

On June 22, 2022, a former BOP Contract Correctional Officer previously assigned to the McRae Correctional Facility (McRae), a BOP-contracted correctional facility in McRae, Georgia, was arrested following an Indictment charging her with five counts of bribery.  Tiffany Fletcher was charged in the Southern District of Georgia.  According to the Indictment, from on or about June 25, 2019, through on or about December 20, 2019, Fletcher received five bribery payments totaling $4,390 in exchange for not reporting or investigating prohibited objects being brought into McRae.  The investigation is being conducted by the OIG’s Atlanta Area Office.
