BOP Inmate Charged with Providing or Possessing Contraband in Prison


On August 12, 2020, a BOP inmate previously incarcerated at the Federal Correctional Institution Texarkana (FCI Texarkana) in Texas was charged via an Information with one count of providing or possessing contraband in prison.  Jason Parmeley was charged in the Eastern District of Texas.  According to the Information, in or about October and November 2018, Parmeley aided and abetted an attempt to obtain a prohibited object, Buprenorphine, a controlled substance, in FCI Texarkana.  The investigation is being conducted by the OIG’s Dallas Field Office and the United States Postal Inspection Service’s Fort Worth Field Office.
