On January 26, 2026, a BOP Correctional Officer assigned to the Federal Correctional Institution Coleman (FCI Coleman) in Florida, pleaded guilty to one count of wire fraud for fraudulently applying for and securing Paycheck Protection Program Loan (PPP) funds. Keevin Antonio Jones pleaded guilty in the Middle District of Florida. According to the factual statement in support of the guilty plea, from in or about June 10, 2020, through on or about July 22, 2020, Jones fraudulently applied for a total of $78,283.86 in PPP and Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) funds, ultimately receiving $29,610 in PPP funds. The investigation is being conducted by the OIG’s Fraud Detection Office.
