BOP Correctional Officer Arrested for Sexual Abuse of a Ward

On July 28, 2026, a BOP Correctional Officer assigned to the Federal Correctional Institution Ft. Dix (FCI Ft. Dix), in New Jersey, was arrested and charged with one count of sexual abuse of a ward. Jordan Pensak was charged in the District of New Jersey. According to the criminal complaint, on January 8, 2026, Pensak sexually abused a federal detainee housed at FCI Ft. Dix. The investigation is being conducted by the OIG’s Trenton Office and the FBI.
