Former BOP Correctional Officer Charged by Information to Sexual Abuse of a Ward and False Statements

On June 25, 2025, a former BOP Correctional Officer previously assigned to the Federal Correctional Institution in Dublin, California, was charged by Information to five counts of sexual abuse of a ward and one count of false statements to a government agency.  Jeffrey Raymond Wilson was charged in the Northern District of California.  According to the Information, from on or about March 14, 2022, to on or about August 16, 2022, Wilson knowingly engaged in sexual contact with an inmate victim on multiple occasions in a medical room while she was at the time in official detention and under his custodial, supervisory, and disciplinary authority.  Additionally, on or about September 6, 2024, Wilson made false statements to the OIG agents by stating he never engaged in sexual contact with any inmates.  The investigation is being conducted by the OIG’s Santa Rosa Locale and the FBI.
