BOP Food Service Foreman Pleads Guilty to Two Counts of Sexual Abuse of an Inmate

On October 16, 2020, a BOP Food Service Foreman assigned to the Federal Correctional Institution in Marianna, Florida, but previously on detail to the Federal Correctional Institution in Tallahassee, Florida, pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual abuse of an inmate under his supervision.  Phillip Golightly pleaded guilty in the Northern District of Florida.  According to the factual statement in support of the guilty plea, on or about November 10, 2019, and on or about November 17, 2019, Golightly knowingly engaged in sexual acts with an inmate.  This investigation is being conducted by the OIG’s Miami Field Office.
