2. Allegations of rape and other unwanted
sexual conduct
We first learned of allegations of a gang rape from the affidavits presented to the Senate. Our further investigation in the Ocoee area led us to a witness who claimed to have seen the alleged rape. In an interview, Curtis Cooper said a third party told him of having seen a rape at a Roundup. In addition to rapes, persons alleged incidents of unwanted sexual touching, sexual comments, and naked men in trees jumping down on women passing beneath them.
