Re: Interpol-USNCB Response to Recommendation of the OIG Terrorism Watchlist Audit

In response to the OIG Audit Report dated January 25, 2008, please be advised that the Interpol-U.S. National Central Bureau (USNCB) concurs with the recommendation of the report relating to the USNCB. In order to implement this recommendation, the USNCB will write to the appropriate officials at the National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC) for the purpose of discussing and agreeing upon a process for ensuring that INTERPOL information provided to the NCTC is accurate and updated as frequently as practicable. The USNCB intends to send the letter to the NCTC within two weeks of the date of this letter, and to establish an updating process with the NCTC within the three months of the date of this letter. We will keep you apprized of the status of these efforts.
