The OIG is auditing the Department of Justice’s compliance with the Geospatial Data Act of 2018 for fiscal years 2025 and 2026. The OIG has issued three prior audit reports on the Department’s compliance with the Geospatial Data Act. The preliminary objective is to assess the Department of Justice’s progress toward meeting the requirements for covered agencies established in the Geospatial Data Act of 2018 under Section 759(a).
