On May 4, 2026, a former DEA Contractor was charged by Criminal Complaint with two counts of official misconduct by the Illinois State’s Attorney’s Office. According to the complaint, in May 2024, Johnathan Gonzalez Constancia, in his official capacity, knowingly ran an inquiry of the license plate of a victim for no official purpose and with intent to obtain a personal advantage for himself. The investigation is being conducted by the OIG’s Chicago Office and the Plainfield Illinois Police Department.
