Former Bureau of Prisons Correctional Officer Arrested, Charged, Pleaded Guilty and Sentenced to Providing Contraband in Prison

On March 18, 2026, a former Correctional Officer previously assigned to Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) in Oakdale, Louisiana, was arrested, pleaded guilty, and was sentenced following an Information charging her with one count of providing contraband in prison. Allison Dickens was charged in the Western District of Louisiana. According to the factual statement in support of the guilty plea, in or around August 2022 through in or around October 2024, Dickens introduced cigarettes cell phones, and other contraband into FCC Oakdale in exchange for payment. Dickens was sentenced to 12 months of supervised probation, ordered to pay a $500 fine, and other penalties. The investigation was conducted by the OIG’s Houston Office and Investigative Analyst of the OIG’s Dallas Office.
