On May 1, 2026, a former BOP Correctional Officer previously assigned as a health technician/paramedic at the Federal Correctional Institution Dublin (FCI Dublin) in California was sentenced to 52 months’ imprisonment followed by five years of supervised release, and was ordered to register as a sex offender for five counts of sexual abuse of a ward and one count of making false statements. Jeffrey Wilson was sentenced in the Northern District of California. According to the factual statement in support of the guilty plea, from on or about March 14, 2022, to on or about August 16, 2022, Wilson knowingly engaged in sexual activity with an inmate victim on multiple occasions in a medical room while the inmate was in official detention and under his custodial, supervisory, and disciplinary authority. Additionally, on or about September 6, 2024, Wilson made false statements to OIG agents by stating he never engaged in sexual contact with any inmates. The investigation was conducted by the OIG’s Santa Rosa Locale and the FBI.
