On March 17, 2026, a former BOP Correctional Officer previously assigned to the Federal Correctional Complex Yazoo City in Mississippi, was arrested pursuant to an indictment issued in the Southern District of Mississippi. According to the Indictment, on June 26, 2025, Jabriel Wilkins, knowingly provided and attempted to provide to an inmate of a federal prison a prohibited object, that is, Delta-9 Tetrahydrocannabinol. The investigation is being conducted by the OIG’s Jackson Locale.
