On March 3, 2026, a BOP Correctional Officer assigned to the Federal Correctional Institution Aliceville (FCI Aliceville) in Alabama, was indicted on eight counts of deprivation of rights under color of law by a federal grand jury. The indictment stated that beginning in or about May of 2022 and continuing until September 16, 2024, Felix Wilder willfully deprived multiple victims of their civil rights by forcing their participation in various sexual acts, some of which caused bodily injury and involved kidnapping; the victims of these acts were in official detention and under Wilder’s custodial authority. The investigation is being conducted by the OIG’s Atlanta Office and the FBI’s Birmingham Division.
