On December 10, 2025, Tristan Cox, a former BOP Contract Residence Monitor previously assigned to the Atlanta Residential Reentry Center (RRC), was charged in the Northern District of Georgia via superseding indictment with one count of sexual abuse of a ward and one count of sexual contact without consent. The investigation was conducted by the OIG’s Atlanta Office and the Fulton County Police Department with forensic assistance provided by the FBI Laboratory in Quantico, Virginia.
